Students in Denver, Colorado just won $1.5 million dollars for a pilot program to staff a new position in Denver Public Schools: A mental health counselor. This win is the result of nearly 3 years of advocacy and building student power, and we are going to be sharing our lessons learned and the path we took with you all February 17 at our campaign teach in. Denver student leaders will be sharing their experience navigating the district, learning about mental health services, speaking their truth, and building power!
