Join us for our first ever 8th grade action hour! At this event DPS 8th graders are invited to join their peers from across the city and Our Turn student leaders as we write letters to share our student perspective and experiences with the Superintendent of Denver Public Schools, Dr. Alex Marrero. 

At Our Turn, we've written hundreds of letters to education leaders and elected officials, and we keep coming back to it because we know its an effective way to share our voices and push for change. In 2021, students led a letter writing campaign to the DPS Budget Advisory Committee that resulted in millions of dollars going towards student solutions for mental health. 

We will provide training, support, and a dinner gift card to all students who attend!
